Bonnie Moulton is doing her best to have a positive impact on her family, in the Highgate community and in her workplace. According to her colleague, Lisa Way, if there is anything that needs to be done, Bonnie is the first to volunteer. “We are so lucky to have her as a member of our team.” “She jumped on board to serve as a Franklin Northwest central office VEHI building leader, regardless of the fact that she is a fairly new employee. She has engaged the central office staff in wellness oriented activities such as walking challenges four or five times a week and created water war challenges.”
In her children’s school, Highgate Elementary, Moulton is an active member of the Parent Teacher organization. “Thus far, I have organized the Trunk or Treat Halloween event and always help with the annual Santa’s workshop, an event geared for children,” Moulton said. “I thrive when I am busy helping others.” Moulton said.
“I left my previous position because I wanted to be able to stay involved with my children as they get older,” Moulton said. “I was hired at Franklin NW as a business services associate.” Her decision to move was a good one everyone is benefiting from. “I am able to participate in all my children’s sporting events, serve as a soccer coach and help with the local skating program,” she said. My children, Dylan and Logan, and my husband, Mark mean the world to me. Though Mark recognizes I am apt to over volunteer at times, he is happy we are able to cheer our children on together.” In winter months, the Moulton family enjoys snowshoeing and in the summer they make time to explore the Alburgh Dunes State Park beach and swim in Lake Champlain and spend some nights camping at Lake Carmi State Park.
